Lane Roofing Connect ("we," "us," or "our") operates as a referral service. We connect homeowners and property owners in Northern Michigan with independent, licensed roofing contractors and snow plowing operators. We are not a roofing contractor, general contractor, or construction company. We do not perform any roofing work, set pricing for roofing jobs, or supervise the work performed by any contractor.
Our sole role is to introduce you to qualified, independent roofing contractors or service providers. Once we make the introduction:
We make reasonable efforts to work only with contractors who hold valid licenses and carry their own insurance. However, it is your responsibility to independently verify a contractor's credentials, licensing, and insurance before entering into any agreement with them. We encourage you to ask any contractor for proof of license and insurance before work begins.
We may receive a referral fee or finder's fee from contractors when a successful connection is made through our platform. This fee is paid by the contractor and does not increase the cost of your roofing project. Our recommendations are based on contractor quality and fit for your specific needs.
In some cases, we may collect a deposit on behalf of a project to secure a contractor's availability. Any deposit collected through our platform will be clearly communicated to you before payment. The deposit is applied toward the total project cost as agreed between you and the contractor.
Because we are a referral service and do not perform any construction or maintenance work, we are not liable for any damages, injuries, property damage, delays, or disputes that arise from the work performed by any contractor we refer. Any claims related to the quality of work, warranties, or workmanship must be directed to the contractor who performed the work.
Snow plowing services offered through our platform follow the same referral model. We connect you with independent snow plowing operators. Emergency plowing has a minimum fee of $125. Plow account terms and seasonal pricing are set by the service provider and agreed upon between you and the provider directly.
By using this website, you agree that you understand Lane Roofing Connect is a referral service, not a contractor. You agree to provide accurate information when submitting service requests. We reserve the right to refuse service or remove accounts at our discretion.
